I just wanted to blog about our month of May so far... First to discuss is Mother's Day! Ryan and I had decided not to do big gifts for Mothers/Fathers day this year, and thankfully we did! Seeing as how we got dumped on with unexpected bills.{Including a plumber that was extremely dishonest and quite frankly a sleezeball!! Said plumber gave an estimate of $500.00 and charged us $1700!!!!I don't and probably never will understand how a person can be so extremely dishonest!! So due to attorney fees that we will be facing with that, and Ryan's hospital bill for his surgery, and a leaky roof, all in one month, it was a good thing we didn't do big gifts this year!!} But I guess Ryan thought that meant not to get anything...:) It's okay though! We spent the day together and then went to Tremonton to visit with Ryan's family. It was a good day spent with family!
Just this past weekend we were super busy, and a little tired of driving to Salt Lake!! Ryan had to drive down on Tuesday for a meeting, I drove down Thursday for lunch with the girl's for Natasha's Birthday, Saturday for the Zoo and Ryan's football game, and then Sunday night I drove down with some girl's from work for a Hair Show!! Wow! Lots of driving this past week and weekend. So to start, Friday morning Tayli woke up with a bad fever and was so uncomfortable that Ryan and Tayli just stayed home and worked instead of going to his office. They stopped by work to surprise me and Ryan told me he had got a babysitter for the night and we would be going on a date!!! I just blamed Tayli's fever on teething and figured if she kept up on Tylenol and orajel that she would be okay, so we went out! We got to go to dinner just the two of us and it was so nice and relaxing, after dinner we planned on a movie but had to run home to give our babysitter some notice, and give Tylenol to our baby girl. She had gotten worse and was laying on the ground with her head down and just feeling miserable... but Ryan and I decided to go to the movies anyway. I was feeling so awful about my baby and really needed to be with her so I bailed on my cute hubby to go back and take care of my little girl. Luckily I did because Tayli had gone from bad to worse! She was on FIRE!! Normally my Tayli is too busy to be cuddled and snuggled, but that was all she wanted to do. {I can't help but say that I really enjoyed her being that way cause I never get to cuddle her!} All night she had a rough time sleeping and was just dripping with sweat! When she woke up Saturday she was warm, but not as hot as the previous night. So we decided to continue on with our plans of going to the Hogle Zoo in the beautiful weather! She seemed like she was doing better and her temperature was under control. Ryan also had a football game in Lehi so we were planning on getting lunch with the family and going to the game after. We had a great day at the zoo and Tayli had so much fun running around and being out in the sun. She didn't seem to notice that there were animals there, but she did love watching the Tigers just as much as mom did! The Tigers and Cheetahs were up and playing and pacing their homes and we had so much fun watching them! After the zoo we met up with my family for lunch, and then dropped Ryan off at his game. I took Tayli to my Brother and Sister in laws to take a nap. While Tayli slept, we had fun riding the four wheeler and playing outside. I left to go watch the game and Tayli stayed to play with her cousins. While at the game, my brother called me and informed Tayli had a fever of 102!! I hurried there to go get her and be with her. So she had a rough weekend and thankfully on Monday she started feeling better. She must have been feeling a lot better and was making up for lost time this weekend by getting into everything!! She had to explore every nook and cranny!!
Speaking of Monday, I had another Hair Show come up! Some girls and I from work headed to Salt Lake Sunday night to stay over and sleep in Monday morning. It was a great show and a bunch of other girls from the salon came down Monday morning too! I learned lots and LOVE being in a profession where classes sell out in just a matter of weeks!! How many professions out there have as many classes and as many attendance as mine??? I LOVE what I do and I enjoy going to all of the classes!!! It gives such an empowerment to me to know how much of an impact I personally have in my client's lives! It is such a fun job, and most days with the women I work with, it RARELY feels like a job!!! Here we all are after the show!!

I got a little tired of posting pictures of the not so good food with purees that I was making so I wanted to post a picture so I could show
Tayli that her mom can make some good things! These were some delicious Chicken Tacos that I threw together and it was so good!

Also,
Tayli had her first PONYTAIL!! It was
definitely a picture moment!! She is so adorable, and Ryan and
I's complete world!!! She is growing up and we are having so much fun with her!!
