Amber &Tayli

This story started as a love story and is ending in a completely different love story. We have lost one member of our family, but Tayli and I are still our own family. We will continue our Journey as mother and daughter, and best friends....

Best Day Ever......

{Nothing better than putting your feet in the water}
Sunday October 17, 2010 Ryan, Tayli, and I headed up the canyon to go to Bear Lake, this was Tayli's first time there! We loaded up the truck and sure enough on the way up Tayli fell asleep:) Once we were getting close, Ryan took us on a detour on a dirt path through the canyon. Tayli woke up just in time to go off roading!! She had so much fun while the truck was jiggling around she started swaying her head herself, so much that I had to tell her to stop or she was going to hurt her neck! Once we were deep enough in the trees, Ryan spotted a deer, and I spotted a picture moment!! We got Tayli and Toby out of the truck and set up the camera. It was so pretty with the trees and the lake was in the background too! After the picture, we loaded up the truck again and continued on our way. We found another great path and a really good view of the lake, so again I had to have some more pictures! Tayli loved running up the path chasing Toby, and Toby loved "marking" everything. There were some really pretty yellow trees in the background so I had to get lots of pictures! We decided to get on our way and headed to the lake. We found a great spot on the beach and no one was there so we had the whole beach to ourselves. As soon as we got out Tayli was on her way! She was running everywhere and Toby really wanted to join her! It was a little walk to the actual beach so Toby stayed on a leash and Tayli had to have her hand held or be carried on the way down. Once we got to the sand and water, Tayli started running and got so excited that she fell onto her tummy! She loved the sand so much that she just layed there and played in the sand. We took our shoes off and just enjoyed being there in the sand and water! Tayli cried when we decided to leave! It was so sad. We stayed in Bear Lake and had lunch there and bought some yummy treats! It was one of those days that you dont want to ever forget it! I hope I never do!!

Ocotber 16 we celebrated Baby Henry by throwing Natasha a baby shower! Lots of family from all over the state came which was so fun to get to see them all! And lots of Natasha's friends came too! Our uncle Don and Aunt Kathy came as well as, Aunt Linda and cousin Charlene,
Aunt Annie and Cousin Wendy From my mom's side of the family came up from as far as Lindon Utah! On Terry's family, Grandma Stones and Aunt Jalynn and cousin Kendall, Cousins Kim and Claire and Aubry, and Marci and Brittani and Natalie all came too! We also had lots of neighbors and childhood friends were there! She got lots of great gifts including clothes, diaper and wipes, and handmade blankets and burp clothes too! Ryan, Tayli and I got her a frame that I painted to match the room! It was so much fun and my mom did a great job with getting it all ready!

October as of now....

This october we went to the American West Heritage Corn Maze. They had a horse ride to the actual corn maze. The Gladfelders and the Rosales' came with us. It took us two hours to find our way out! We didn't even get to the exit we had to trample through the corn and off the path and we only went back out the way we went in! It was a lot of fun to hang out with our friends and we dont get to see them a whole lot, so it was really great to spent time with them all!! While we were in the maze I had a map and was trying to follow it, but Carlos and Radley thought that they could do better than me, so they took the map. Needless to say we were stuck in the same ten foot diameter for about an hour and a half. After all of that, we had, had it! We were cold and hungry so we just made our own way out! They had a small maze for the kids and Tayli and I went in and tried it. She got about five feet in and didn't like not seeing where everyone was. The boys had found a rope that you lasso a hay cow so they were pretty entertained with that for a while. Of course Ryan did really good and probably the best:) It was a great night with great friends!!

September 11 { I finally made it!! }

I finally made it to the Temple! I did it just for me! September 11, 2010 I finally was able to go through the Salt Lake Temple. It is so beautiful inside! I have never seen buildings like this before and I dont think that there is anything out there quite like this!! It was a beautiful day and I couldn't think of anything better to do on September 11 than try to be as close to God as I possibly could! Ryan was so proud of me, and I hope that one day he will feel for himself that it is the right thing for him to do too. He was so sweet, he came down to greet me when I came out of my session and Tayli came too!! They were so happy for me and I couldn't have been more happy to be with them! My whole family was able to come through with me which meant so much to me! After the session we went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in Murray. We had to wait two hours!! So for making us wait we all got a free appitizer!! YUMMY! Unfortunalty Tayli still wasn't feeling so great and threw up all over me and my mom! I was already so emotional so I just started crying! My mom was so good and helped me clean it up and clean her up and help watch Tayli for me! It was a beautiful day and I cant wait to go every year on September 11, and hopefully one day I can make my family eternal and we will all go through and get sealed!! To be continued I guess...........
