This year my family finally made it to Lake Powell! We went in march and so the water was freezing!! But we didn't let the cold water stop us from having a blast! We spent the week wakeboarding, skiing, boating, playing games, and having fun in the sun! It was actually nice to be there in march because it wasn't so hot that you had to be in the water to be cooled off!! We started the week with a birthday party for Natasha, Jordan, and Terry!! We played games, had drinks and treats, and lots of laughs!! We didn't leave the "booey" that night cause it was so windy! Boats would pass by and it would take almost a half of an hour to pass our vision cause the wind was so strong!! So the next day we went and did bost maintanece and then the speed boat went ahead to find a great spot to dock! When we docked the trip began, and we started hiking and playing games and swimming! On one day we went on hike to the canyon that is called "Hole in the rock". It is a canyon basically carved out from pioneers who had to cross the canyon! They took handcarts, and cows and bulls and their families through this canyon to look for a new place to live. It is unreal to me that they climed down that hill with everything they owned and nobody was hurt or died!! I almost died while going up it:) It was so steep and I am very out of shape, so I struggled. But Ryan really helped me with it! Then, the dreaded Sumo Tube was brought out! I had heard so much about it that I had to try it. Needless to say, it sucked!! I will never do that again! Ouch!!! The week was so much fun, and it was a great week that was relaxing and fun and exciting all at the same time! It was great to go, and so great to be back with Tayli! We definatly missed our little baby! But she had so much fun at Grandpa and Grandma Udy's House!!

Hogle Zoo
This year while Ryan would go to his "away" games Tayli and I would try to find fun things to do. On one of our trips Ryan's parents Alan and Dixie, as well as Nicole and her boyfriend A.J. came down to the Utah Hogle Zoo. We also took our niece and nephew Patyon and Ashlynn with us. The kids had so much fun and so did we!! Tayli loved seeing all the animals and had so much fun riding in her stroller "cruisin" around with a nice cold bottle and shade while we pushed her!! Unfortunatly Ashlynn wore the WRONG shoes and got big blisters, so we had to take her shoes off and put her in the stroller so Tayli had to be held alot. Which if you are around Tayli for a while you will notice she does not like to be held for very long. But it was good that Dixie was there cause Tayli loves her grandma and would be held by Dix for a while so that was good! We had a great day and everyone had alot of fun! Tayli had such a blast that the whole time we were there, she didn't even sleep! Her eyes were so red and puffy from being tired but she really wanted to stay awake and see all of the animals! As soon as we got in the car to go home she fell asleep before we could get out of the parking lot! Of course the only exhibit I choose not to go in was the reptile one. I HATE snakcs and am so scared of them! So Tayli and I and Dixie and Ash and Payton stayed outside. But it was a great day and we had so much fun! Ryan even felt bad that he couldn't go with us and was a little sad! Maybe next year Ryan!!

July 4th 2010
I got so excited to write about my bug's birthday, I forgot our fourth of July celebration!!We had a great day! We celebrated with going to Willard bay with my family and boating in my parents boat! We had a great day plaing on the beach and trying to wakeboard. It was such rough water, I was trying cross the wake like i had learned this summer and I was so rough and too hard to even go outside of the wake! When you fell, it felt like slamming your head into the pavement!! But after the wakeboarding, we all hung out on the beach, and this is why I love my family...We moved our stuff out of the shade and the grass, to the beach so the kids could play in the sand and water, but when we got there, there was only one tree for all ten adults and five kids to sit under! Instead of moving, we just scrunched closer!!! It was so fun just playing in the water and watching Tayli play in the sand. She loves to get dirty in the sand!!! On our way home from the lake, we stopped in Brigham city and got some fireworks! The Rosales' and the Gladfelders came over and we had dinner and treats and headed out to the lawn to light our fireworks!! It was so fun, the boys played football while Tayli and Aiden chased them around. Finally when it was dark we lit our fireworks! They must have been good cause some of the neighbor kids ended up coming to our lawn and not only watching, but stealing our fireworks and lighting them themselves!! I was so worried my lawn was going to catch fire because our grass was dead. And these kids were lighting our fireworks themselves on my lawn!! (I guess their parents thought it was a good idea to give ten year olds lighters) Anyway, after I told the other children to leave, the night ended up being a great celebration with great friends and family!!
After that, we went down to Stadium of Fire with Ryan's Family!! The girls went down earlier to go shopping of course!! So we met the boys down in provo and went to the dinner at a great Italian Place, and then headed to the show!! It was so much fun! Carrie Underwood was performing and Tayli and Ryan and I had a great time! Of course Tayli fell asleep, but she missed the whole fireworks show. I cant believe she slept through the fireworks. I think she was just so drained from the weekend! It was a great Holiday spent with fun people!!!
TAYLI TURNS ONE!!!

Our little Lady Tayli Bug turned one this July 16!!! I cant believe a whole year has passed us!!!She has gotten so big and so smart! It has been the greatest blessing to watch her grow and learn! At nine months old she decided she was ready to walk and just popped up and started to try walking! She didn't even have to crawl over to something to pull herself up, she just stood up! It was so fun being able to watch her do that! So her birthday day was spent at Uncle Jordan and Aunt Natasha's house for Jordan's 80's Birthday party! Mom and Tayli dressed up for it and Ryan had fun just being there! We had lots of fun eating good treats and playing 80's music and we even played the newlyweds game! Ryan and I won!! It went to a tie with another couple and us and to find the winner we had to answer a spur of the moment question and Ryan and I won!!! I think the question was for Ryan to answer about me and it was, "What color is her toothbrush?" Of course he knew mine was pink!! So we won! It was so much fun! Then on Tayli's birthday we had a ladybug party at the park for her! She was dressed in a cute tutu, shirt, and bow that I made for her! Lots of our friends and family showed up to celebrate on her special day! She had so much fun playing with friends and parents and grandparents. Even great grandparents were there!! She got lots of great toys and even got a wagon that she loves to ride in! I think that once the wagon was brought out, all the kids were gone playing with it for the rest of the day! It was such a great day and you could just see in Tayli's eyes how much fun she had. She may not have known it was her birthday, but I know she had so much fun! She LOVED having everyone sing happy birthday to her, and even got into the cake early and was a mess!! I almost forgot...After four years of being blonde I decided to try something new and dyed my hair dark brown!! I'm loving it and having so much fun with it!
Summer Fun
Tayli Bug
Tayli is getting so big! It really is one of the most fun things to watch your child, your baby, grow and learn all on their own. You dont teach your infant to put their hands out and squirt lotion and then rub it around, but they watch and lean and pick up stuff all on their own. I say this cause one day tayli had gone in her room, got her lotion bottle out and brought it to me. She then held out her hands and started to rub them to motion to me that she wanted me to give her some lotion. I know this is such a small gesture but I thought it was the cutest thing I had ever seen!! She is just soaking up everything. And I love being able to be her mom and watch her figure things out! One of the greatest blessings I feel parents recieve!! She is such a little menice!! She crawls into drawers, on top of chairs to couches, and anything else she can get into and figure out!
New Things
Trying to catch up...
After our trip to Las Vegas with some great friends, Ryan's football season with the stampede continued. They did really good!! They made it to the playoffs and their final game before the championships, they lost. But Ryan and all his friends had a great season and lots of fun! It was good for Ryan to be surrounded by positive people and friends that can get him to where he wants to be in life. Tayli and I had a great time showing our support for our favorite player! #16! Which is also a new thing this year! Ryan wanted to change his number from 33 to 16 because tayli and I both have our birthdays on the sixteenth of the month! Tayli is July 16 and I am December 16!! So that was fun for us to have some reasoning behind his number and helping to involve both tayli and I to football and make it more a family event! At the end of the season I had made wonderful life long friends and had a great time supporting ryan and his team!! Which is great because the year before I didn't have so much fun..So now I cant wait until his third year!!
